Curio Club Creation Experimental Reliquary No. 002
Not every discovery enters the permanent archives.
Some remain as records of experimentation, documenting a moment when curiosity proved more important than certainty.
Experimental Reliquary No. 002 explores the interaction between soft ivory resin, warm metallic gold, and hidden amber luminescence. In daylight, the reliquary presents a calm, almost carved appearance with subtle gradients that evoke aged stone and weathered brass. Under ultraviolet light, a concealed amber glow emerges from within, revealing a warmth invisible under ordinary conditions.
The faceted lid was introduced as part of an ongoing investigation into how geometry influences the movement of light through resin. Every angle reflects and diffuses light differently, rewarding closer observation from multiple perspectives.
As with every Curio Club Creation, this piece preserves the authentic results of the experiment, including the subtle variations that make it impossible to reproduce exactly.
