Curio Club Creation No. 007 - The Turquoise Study
Curio Club Creation No. 007 - The Turquoise Study
Three companion pieces created during a single Curio Club experiment and transferred together as one collection.
This vignette includes:
A translucent turquoise feather tray
A sculpted resin rose
A crystal-inspired candle holder
Created using layered transparent pigments, shimmering color-shift effects, and UV-reactive materials, each piece changes character depending on how it is displayed.
Viewing Modes
• Daylight: Rich turquoise with subtle blue color-shift highlights.
• Museum Uplighting: Transparency and depth become more pronounced.
• Blacklight: The blue color-shift transforms into a brilliant aqua glow.
• After Exposure: Following blacklight exposure, the aqua luminescence lingers, allowing the collection to softly glow even after the ultraviolet light has been removed.
As with all Curio Club Creations, this is a one-of-a-kind experimental collection documenting a moment of discovery within the House of Coe archives. It includes its provenance documentation recording the experiment that brought it into existence.
