Curio Club Creation No. 009 - Oversized Spoon Rest | Black Rose.

A quiet experiment became something unexpectedly haunting.

This oversized spoon rest features a bouquet of black roses permanently embedded beneath a crystal-clear viewing window, as though preserved behind museum glass. The surrounding resin swirls with deep translucent crimson and smoky black, creating the impression of aged stained glass or dark vintage resin.

Hidden throughout the piece are UV-reactive red pigments that remain nearly invisible in ordinary light. Under ultraviolet illumination, subtle crimson energy begins to emerge, transforming the artifact without overpowering its elegant appearance.

One unexpected characteristic appeared during creation: a faint, ghostly white aura surrounding the bouquet. It wasn't planned, recreated, or painted. It simply... arrived. Whether viewed as a happy accident or a quirk of the artifact itself is left to its future Custodian.

Known Viewing Modes

• Daylight - Rich burgundy resin with a preserved black rose bouquet beneath a glass-like window. 

• Blacklight - Hidden crimson pigments awaken, revealing a second layer of color and atmosphere. 

• Field Observation - A mysterious pale aura surrounds the embedded bouquet, creating an unexpectedly spectral effect unique to this experimental piece.

As with all Curio Club Creations, this artifact represents a one-of-a-kind experiment. Once transferred to its new Custodian, no identical piece will ever be created.
