Others wait.

The Deepwell Reliquary appears almost carved from obsidian at first glance. Its faceted exterior catches only hints of the emerald depths concealed beneath a smoky black surface. As light moves across the piece, the illusion begins to shift. The darkness softens, hidden translucence emerges, and the vessel reveals a quiet glow that seems suspended below the surface rather than shining through it.

The matching lid continues the illusion, appearing nearly opaque until light uncovers a translucent heart concealed within its center. Together, the vessel and lid create an artifact that rewards curiosity, revealing more with every change in perspective.

Created using only transparent resin dyes, carefully layered black pigment, and silver alcohol ink, the colors remain luminous rather than painted, allowing light to become part of the artifact itself.

Like every House of Coe artifact, no two discoveries will ever be identical.

Museum Uplighting: Internal emerald illumination awakens within the vessel.
