Curio Club Creation 006 - Experimental Crystal Tea Light Holder

Not every experiment becomes an Artifact.

Some simply become beautiful.

This Curio Club Creation explored the relationship between transparency, color layering, and light. Deep turquoise resin forms the base of each crystal while smoky green tones settle naturally toward the tips, creating the impression of mineral growth emerging from deep water or ancient stone.

Unlike opaque resin pieces, this experiment relies almost entirely on transparent dyes and inks, allowing light to travel through the crystals instead of stopping at their surface. Whether illuminated by a simple tea light or sunlight through a nearby window, each crystal reveals subtle shifts in color that change throughout the day.

Every point grew a little differently. Every face catches light from a different angle. No two views are quite the same.

The Curator's notes indicate the experiment was successful, though the resulting specimen displayed no unusual behaviors warranting Artifact Ascension. It remains, however, an excellent reminder that not every discovery must rewrite the archives to deserve a place within them.

Behavioral Notes: Exhibits changing color and depth as lighting conditions change. Best observed with natural daylight or a flickering candle placed within the crystal ring.
