Crafted from translucent amber resin with selectively aged metallic accents, this vessel serves as both an illuminated display piece and a functional aromatic reliquary. Discreet ventilation openings hidden within the decorative pattern allow dried botanicals, potpourri, incense resin, cedar, lavender, or other fragrant collections to gently perfume the surrounding space.
When illuminated, the vessel glows like aged amber glass while the hand-finished metallic details emerge from the light, creating the impression of an object that has quietly occupied the Curator's Cabinet for decades.
Following review by the Curator, this creation has been formally elevated from Curio Club Creation to Artifact, recognizing the successful combination of craftsmanship, functionality, and wonder.
The Office of the Registrar encourages future custodians to document any notable contents housed within the vessel, as lingering fragrances often become part of an artifact's own history.
